Malaysia: Exports of urea through February decline

Malaysian exporters shipped 70,000 mt urea to export markets in February 2016, down 30% on the same month in 2015. Exports to Thailand were nevertheless up to 31,000 mt from 7,000 mt, while the Philippines registered a decline of 36% to 25,000 mt. Major losses down to zero in February 2016 were registered in the US (30,000 mt in February 2015) and Australia (12,600 mt).
