Spain: February urea imports fall 42%

Spain imported 77,287 mt of urea in February 2016, down 42% on the same month a year earlier, according to the latest customs data via GTIS. Arrivals from Algeria, the main source of tonnage, fell 40% year on year to 20,338 mt. Egypt was up more than fourfold to 16,993 mt and shipments from the Netherlands climbed almost threefold to 12,557 mt in February compared with the same month in 2015.
