Swedish mining and base metals company Boliden reported a 76% year-on-year jump in third-quarter profits, driven by higher metals prices and high production at mines. Q3 net profit increased to SEK 1.137 billion ($128 million) from SEK 647 million a year earlier. Indeed, the higher metal prices compensated for poorer treatment charges, lower sulphuric acid prices, and lower premiums.
