Indian importers are struggling to sell on high DAP inventories due to limited demand in the domestic market. Operating rates for many DAP producers in India have fallen to around 50% with high levels of DAP in the country at lower prices but the new reduced phosacid price may boost some level of DAP production interest rather than further imports in the current market.
