Some more UAN tenders announced

Little UAN business was concluded with the expectation that interest will pick up in the next few weeks. Falling urea values has meant players in UAN are in a watch and wait mode, adding to the lack of activity. Even so, there have been quite a few enquiries into the freight markets for Klaipeda and Damietta loadings after two tenders released this week, with one being scrapped. There was little fixed business. Abu Qir issued a 25,000 mt UAN-32 sales tender which will close January 13 for prompt loading. The price range for Egyptian UAN is assessed at an indicative $148-159/mt FOB Damietta for the week.
