Inland DAP buyers in Pakistan are awaiting the activation of the July 1 subsidy before returning to draw down of the high DAP stocks in the country. Pakistan recently announced that from July 1 it will provide a DAP subsidy of PKR 250 per 50 kg bag. The private sector has agreed to reduce prices by another PKR 50 per bag, bringing the overall price to PKR 2,500 ($24) per bag at a cost of PKR 10 billion ($96 million) to the government.
