The price assessment for sulphuric acid sales to Turkey was unchanged at $30-40/mt CFR spot/contract. Little change was reported in the Turkish market, and suppliers expected steady import demand in the 500-600,000 mt range for 2017. The lengthy Q2 shutdown of Aurubis's Pirdop smelter, which provided 97% of Turkey's imports in 2015, helped push prices up slightly earlier in the year.
