US DAP/MAP exports in April fell behind the volumes seen during April 2014, but US shipments to outside markets during July-April remained ahead of the first 10 months of the prior fertilizer year, according to the latest data from The Fertilizer Institute. April DAP and MAP exports totalled 156,254 st (141,753 mt) P2O5, down from 170,011 st (154,233 mt) P2O5 in the same month a year earlier. Destinations during the most recent month were to traditional markets, including 27,888 st P2O5 to India, 44,526 st P2O5 to Brazil and 18,643 st P23O5 to Canada.
