Greater gas curtailment in April

The seemingly endless series of natural gas curtailments in Trinidad and Tobago will expand again next month, doubling to about 30%, according to notices from the government and the National Gas Co. (NGC), nitrogen producers and other industrial consumers this week. While an increase from the current 15% curtailment has been expected for a few weeks, the timing was not clear until recent days. According to ammonia producers the 30% cutback will run from April 15-26, and then likely return to the 15% shortfall going forward.
