Global urea prices slumped this week and all six urea benchmarks in the index posted week-on-week losses. Urea (granular) FOB Middle East registered the biggest decline in the Fertilizer Index, dropping 4.4%, or $12.5/mt, to $285/mt. Urea (granular) CFR Brazil slipped 3.2%, or $9.50/mt, to $300.50/mt. Urea (granular) FOB bulk Egypt fell 2.5% to $324.50/mt. Chinese prills declined 1.4% to $283.50/mt, while Urea (prilled) FOB bulk Yuzhnny fell 2.2% to $279/mt.
