Granular MOP spot prices in Brazil are currently seen in the $280s/mt CFR but no buyers are interested in meeting suppliers at the $290/mt CFR level. There are now new reports of deals occurring at as low as $275/mt CFR and although these have yet to be confirmed, last week’s rumours of trades at $280/mt CFR have been confirmed by multiple sources this week.
