India: New DAP sales from various origins at lower prices

A substantial volume of DAP sales has come to light this week including more than 500,000 mt from the US and Russia. Price levels weaken to sub $480/mt CFR for new Chinese sales and low/mid $480s/mt CFR for US and Saudi product. Around 500,000 mt Russian and US DAP have been booked for shipment to India up to and including June in a series of sales by Mosaic and PhosAgro in a price range between $480-484/mt CFR. This brings the total import volume known to date to almost 1.7 million mt (see table below).
