Brazil: Vale reports 5% increase in Q1 MAP production

In its Q1 production report, Vale reports an increase of 5% in its MAP production both against the previous quarter and against Q1 2014. Vale produced 291,000 mt MAP in the first three months of this year compared with 278,000 mt in the previous quarter and a similar volume in Q1 2014. The latter part of 2014 had been affected by some power outages prompting Vale to undertake some work to improve operations.
