Kaltim V ammonia production runs

The 2,500 mt/day ammonia unit at Kaltim V commenced operations this week. Efforts are now concentrated on the start-up of the integrated 3,500 mt/day granular urea unit, likely to commence production around January 21. The Indonesian government is not expected to clear sales-tenders for export of granular urea beyond existing commitments before March, having directed producers to allocate output to the domestic market.
