The sulphuric acid market this week remains calm, with the holiday season in full swing and any activity is focused on NW Europe as outstanding Q3 contracts are finalised. As reported previously, inherent tightness and strong demand has seen a modest increase for the third quarter between ?5-15/mt CFR NW Europe, which sees the price range of ?90-110/mt CFR. An FOB price level for acid out of Europe remains around $100/mt.
