GCT declared force majeure November 18 onall imports and exports, as the Gabes port has been lockeddown, with all ships unable to either load or discharge.Production has been halted at both GCT's DAP/TSP sitesat Gabes, M'dhila and Skhira, and at its Gafsa phosphaterock mine following ongoing strikes and sit-ins. It isunderstood that the supply of phosphate rock from Gafsa tothe port of Sfax has also been disrupted. It is not clear yetwhen production will resume.
