IRAN: PCC is attempting to overcome the impact of US and UN trade sanctions by selling directly to end-users and through traders such as Mitsui. The Iranian company is understood to have proposed direct sales to buyers in Tunisia and Jordan as well as to OCP of Morocco, where it concluded a sale this month. The bulk of PCC's exports, running at about 100,000 mt/month, continue to be shipped to India, mainly by Mitsui.
