Pacific Coast eyes 'mid-scale' ammonia plant

Houston—Pacific Coast Fertilizer LP (PCF), a joint venture lookingto build anitrogen plant in the PacincNorthwest (GM Sept. 23, p. 1), last week gave Green Markets a more refined view of the proposed plant. Plant Manager Lee Raymond said the company plans to build a brand-new "mid-scale" ammonia plant in the region, with the previously reported site in Longview, Wash., continuing to be the preferred location. The plant will only produce ammonia.
