Industry banter last week was that a slumbering attempt by Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc. to take over Germany's K+S Group may soon heat up. Most of this was spurred by German newspaper reports that both companies have "banked up," adding investment advisors for a possible stepped-up or hostile takeover attempt.
