The labor unrest at Israel Chemicals Ltd. (ICL) is continuing. Phosphate maker Rotem Amfert is shut down for the second week in a row as ICL sources said that all production has ceased. Work continued normally at all other ICL subsidiaries. A large protest was held on Wednesday, March 26, by ICL workers at Mishor Rotem in southern Israel to protest the planned layoffs at ICL. No negotiations have been reported between workers and management in the past week.
