ConocoPhillips granted two-year export licence for Kenai LNG plant

The US department of energy (DOE) has reauthorized ConocoPhillips to export up to 40 Bcf of LNG from its Kenai LNG plant in Alaska over the next two years, starting 19 February, the DOE said on Monday. Authorisation comes four months after Conoco applied to export from the Kenai plant, with the company now permitted to export LNG to both FTA and non-FTA nations.
