Italy's Snam has set out "a new organisational structure, conceived as a support for its strategic plan, also in relation with the separation of Italgas". "The business activities are reorganised into three business units to ensure a focused management of the strategic guidelines of the plan and deliver a more efficient management of operations, also through simplifying the decision-making process," Snam said. "The business unit in charge of the development will manage the evaluation of new businesses and services, the opportunities related to the emerging uses of natural gas and the business development operations.
