Bayer inks supply deals to expand insecticide market

Bayer CropScience has signed two multi-year nonexclusive supply agreements for its insecticide Imidacloprid.The deals,with Israel's Makhteshim Agan Industries and Denmark's Cheminova will cover both agricultural and non-agricultural markets worldwide,excluding animal health use.All three companies are aiming to further expand the market for Imidacloprid-based applications.Makhteshim and Cheminova plan to develop and commercialise their own range of products based on the insecticide strating this year.
