Egypt is gearing up to offer 28 blocks for bidding in the near future, said the country’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. “We are going to call a new bid round for 28 blocks in the coming few weeks,” Tarek El Molla said. The blocks are located in the Red Sea, Gulf of Suez, Desert Western, Desert Eastern and Desert Mediterranean.
