State-owned KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (KMG EP) has been buoyed by the results of an appraisal well at the Rozhkovskoye field in the Fedorovsky Block, Kazakhstan. During testing of the lower formation of Tournaisian reservoir in the exploration well U-25, drilled in 2016, inflow of gas and condensate was obtained at the interval of 4,418-4,430m (14,495- 14,535ft) with an average flow rate of 111 Mcm/d (3.92 MMcf/d) and 245 Mcm/d (8.65 MMcf/d) respectively on an 11mm choke.
