Thailand’s government is planning to put conces- sions held by US major Chevron and state-owned PTT Exploration and Production up for auction, according to the country’s Energy Minister Anantaporn Kanjanarat. The auction for the petroleum contracts, which are due to expire in 2022-2023, is expected to be completed within one year, Anantaporn told reporters after a meeting with the country’s energy policy makers.
