Statoil's Sverdrup survey wells

Statoil has been given the green light for drilling activity on its operated Johan Sverdrup field development project in the Norwegian North Sea by the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA). “The PSA has given Statoil consent to drill four survey wells in order to obtain information about the reservoir conditions in the field. Consent has been given in the form of two decisions: one for one of the wells and one for the other three,” said the PSA.
