Searcher starts PNG shoot

Searcher Seismic has started the acquisition of the 11,000km Hahonua 2D Seismic Survey in Papua New Guinea (PNG). The survey is being undertaken with partner BGP and will increase Searcher’s total seismic data library in the region to more than 70,000km. In addition, Searcher and Gardline have initiated a multi-beam and coring survey; the Davaria Geochemical Survey, “covering the entire Gulf of Papua to identify and analyse hydrocarbon seeps” Searcher said.
