Germany’s Wintershall has spudded exploration well 35/11-20 S on the Antares prospect in Production Licence 248F (PL 248F) off Norway. Well 35/11-20 S is being drilled using the Borgland Dolphin semi-submersible rig at a water depth of 379m (1,243ft). The well was spudded on 19 May, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) said.
