Ambassador gets Magnum offer

Australia’s Ambassador Oil and Gas has received a second takeover proposal, this time from US player Magnum Hunter Resources Corp. Houston-based Magnum Hunter, a shale focused company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, plans to make a US $44.9m scrip bid for the Australian Securities Exchange listed Ambassador, which is exploring for shale in Cooper Basin of Australia.
