Rigs ordered for North Sea

Prospector Offshore Drilling said today that it has agreed to have two additional high specification harsh environment JU-2000E jack-up drilling rigs built at the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipyard (SWS) in China. Both rigs will be designed, and fully outfitted, for operations in the UK, Netherlands, and Denmark sectors of the North Sea. The company now has six such JU-2000E jackups under construction.
