Apache’s Egypt finds

US player Apache has applied for two new development leases in Egypt after making discoveries in different concessions. The operator struck m (87ft) of net pay at the Apries-1X well on the Khalda Offset Concession in the Shushan Basin. The well, drilled and completed at a cost of US $5m, tested 4,389 b/d of oil and 402.3 Mcm/d (14.2 MMcf/d) of gas from the Palaeozoic Basur sand.
