Raffles eyes Romania

Singapore’s Raffles Energy and Australia’s Zeta Petroleum are looking at developing two existing gas discovery wells in Romania. Previous owners of the Suceava concession had drilled the SE-1 well in 2005, which tested at a stable rate of 900.2 Mcf/d (25.5 Mcm/d). In 2007, the Dornesti Sud-1 well was drilled and tested at 847.2 Mcf/d (24 Mcm/d).
