Strike action bites off Norway

Around 1,400 Norwegian offshore construction workers have cut their working hours since Saturday in a protest over pay. Workers from Kaefer, Bilfinger and Beerenberg, who carry out scaffolding, pipeline insulation and construction, are working just 45% of their normal hours. They are looking to start up pay rise talks.
