BHP Billiton has completed a farm-in with fellow Australian player Woodside Petroleum under which BHP will acquire a 40% stake in WA-389-P offshore Western Australia. Under the farm-in deal, BHP will take 40% in the block in return for covering the costs of drilling a well on the Banambu Deep prospect up to a capped figure.
