Aussie Bauer hits six

The Bauer-5 well in the onshore Cooper Basin PEL 91, South Australia, has intersected 20ft (6m) of net oil pay in the Namur sandstone, as well as flowing oil from the Birkhead formation at 1,160 b/d of oil from a Drill Stem Test (DST). Bauer-5 intersected the primary Namur target, just over one metre high to prognosis, in an excellent quality reservoir.
