Brazil’s state player Petrobras is preparing to sell equity in some of the 175 blocks it holds in the US Gulf of Mexico (GoM). Orlando Azevedo, head of Petrobras’s Houston subsidiary, told the O Estado de Sao Paulo news- paper of its pans but did not give any details in terms of when it planned to offer stakes or how many blocks it wanted to sell equity in.
