Statoil has lined up the offshore Norway ViljeSouth field as its latest fast-track project.The Vilje South oil field is an extension to themain field and was included in Statoil’s originalPlan for Development and Operation.The well planned for Vilje South will be the thirdproducer in this development, and is intended tosecure optimum drainage of its resources.
