Gate LNG terminal gears up

The Netherlands’ Gate LNG terminal is undergoing commissioning ahead of start up in September. The terminal is set to receive its third commissioning cargo next week from the Qatari tanker Al Samriya. Gate is the first LNG import terminal in the Netherlands and will have an initial throughput capacity of 424 Bcf/yr (12 Bcm/yr). It will consist of three storage tanks and two jetties.
