Statoil goes low on Njord

Statoil is looking to boost the lifespan of the Njordfield in the Norwegian Sea to 2020 with a US $90minvestment in low-pressure field production.Reservoir pressure on Njord is falling and thefield has entered tail-end production. By loweringthe pressure on the first and second stage separa-tors, Statoil said it would be possible to increaseproduction from individual wells and maintain pro-duction in each for an extended period.
