BP sells Wytch Farm to Perenco

BP has agreed a US $610m deal to sell its interests in the offshore/onshore Wytch Farm oil field in Dorset, England, as well as the Wareham, Beacon and Kimmeridge fields to Perenco. The sale includes a 67.81% operated interest in the Wytch Farm oil field (covering the Frome, Bridport and Sherwood reservoirs); 67.5% operated interest in the Beacon discovery; 67.5% operated interest in the Wareham oil field and a 100% operated interest in the Kimmeridge oil field.
