Pacific Rubiales Energy plans to spend up to US $2 Bn in 2001 and 2012 to boosts production. The operator will invest $800m to$1 Bn in each of the next two years to increase output by more than 33% in Colombia, which is South America's third largest crude producer, said Pacific Rubiales president Jose Francisco Arata.
