EMGS $150 Pemex deal

Norway’s Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has signed a multi-year US $150m contract with Mexico’s state-owned Pemex for 30 deepwater 3D EM surveys. The work programme is in the Mexican sector of the Gulf of Mexico. Data acquisition will be per- formed using the purpose-built 3D EM vessel BOA Thalassa, with mobilisation towards the end of August.
