Kosmos Ghana well disappoints

Kosmos Energy’s Dahoma-1 well in the West Cape Three Points (WCTP) licence off shore Ghana has failed to hit hydrocarbons. Dahoma-1 intersected 98ft (30m) of good quality but water-bearing sandstone reservoirs below a possible oil-water contact. However, the results show indications of oil migration to good potential for oil trapped up-dip, said Tullow.
