Kosmos Well Disappoints in Ghana

Shares in London-listed Tullow Oil slid on Friday after its partner in the West Cape Three Points Block offshore Ghana, US independent Kosmos Energy, announced the Teak-4 appraisal well encountered thin, noncommercial reservoirs. Teak-4, drilled to a total depth of 2,850 meters (9,350 feet), about 6.1 km (3.8 miles) from the Teak-1 discovery well, is now being plugged and abandoned.
