BG plans $2 Bn Egypt spend

BG Group will spend US $2 Bn to install a pipeline and drill new wells offshore Egypt’s Mediterranean coast to help meet the country’s growing demand for gas. The operator said it expected the new offshore pipeline, its third in the West Delta concession, to be operational by the end of this year. It will enable BG to maintain its current production levels.
