Wellstream sells pipe unit

Wellstream Holdings has agreed to sell an onshore pipeline technology unit as part of plans to focus on its offshore operations for US $30m. Aberdeen-based Wellstream has signed a deal to sell its onshore Flexsteel business, which accounted for 4% of group revenue in 2008, to US-based Prime Natural Resources for around $30m in cash.
