Island eyes Irish gas

Island Oil & Gas has upped its gas in place estimates for the Old Head of Kinsale and Schull gas fields in the Celtic Sea offshore Ireland. The company now believes that the two fields contain P50 (proven and probable) reserves of 117 Bcf (3.3 Bcm) of gas, compared to earlier estimates of 83 Bcf (2.3 Bcm).
