Roxi Petroleum last week said tests on the NK8 well on its Galaz asset in central Kazakhstan produced up to 251 b/d of oil. The well, which reached a total depth of 4,520 ft, was tested at the interval 4,235 ft to 4,252 ft. Employing choke sizes between 5 mm and 7 mm, the oil flowed at rates of 161 b/d to 251 b/d. Roxi next plans to test a different interval at NK8.
