Roxi Petroleum has encountered a further 18m (59ft) of core in the A5 well at the BNG contract area in Kazakhstan. Initial evaluations found the core to be oil-saturated, said Roxi, adding that this means the aggregate thickness of the oilbearing reservoir is around 33m (108ft). Roxi will continue to work on the samples until the oil shows disappear and it is now working on its third core sample.
